Step 1: Book Consultation
Your journey begins with choosing the right service and securing a consultation. The booking process is simple and intentional so that we start on the same page.
When you book, you’ll be asked to:
Select a consultation appointment (required for all new Sisterlocks® , Microlocs and transfer clients)
Share basic information about your hair history
Upload clear photos of your hair if needed
This step helps me prepare for you before we even meet.
Step 2: During Consultation
The consultation is the foundation of everything.
During this appointment we:
Talk about your loc goals, lifestyle, and daily routine
Review your hair history — previous styles, color, heat use, or breakage
Assess your texture, density, length, and scalp health
Explain the difference between Sisterlocks® and Microlocs
Discuss sizing, parting patterns, and what look will suit you best
Go over pricing, time commitment, and maintenance schedule
This is your time to ask questions and to be honest about what you want. I also give my professional opinion about what will work best for your hair long-term.
You leave the consultation knowing exactly what to expect.
During physical consultation loc testing session is done if necessary.
Note: Consultation can either be physical or virtual, and it’s $25 only
Note: The install takes about 12hrs and your hair must be washed and blow-dried to start with.
Step 3: Installation
The deposit fee helps secure your slot appointment for installation.
Installation day is calm, focused, and unhurried.
Here’s what happens:
Your hair is gently cleansed and prepped
Parting is created according to the plan from your consultation
Each loc is formed with precision and care
Tension is kept comfortable to protect your scalp
Breaks are taken as needed
Whether you’re getting Sisterlocks® or Microlocs, the goal is the same: neat, uniform locs that are healthy from day one.
By the end of your appointment, you’ll see your new loc journey begin.
Step 4: After Consultation
You don’t leave on your own.
After installation you’ll receive:
Guidance on washing and daily care
What to expect in the first few weeks
How to protect your locs at night
Your retightening schedule
Answers to any questions as your locs settle
I stay connected with my clients because locs are a growing process, not a one-day service.
Note: You are advised to come in for a retie every 4-6 weeks
